Hello family/friends!
I'm taking part in the Everesting for Second Chances challenge to show my support towards the reintegration of ex-offenders into our society.
Like climbing Mount Everest, the reintegration journey for any ex-offender is one that is tumultuous. Most times, this journey is lonely and fraught with obstacles.
Hence, the aim of this challenge is to galvanise a whole-of-community support to ensure that they reach the highpoint of recovery and remain crime-free.
As I attempt the Everest challenge of reaching 8848m of elevation, this is my way of standing in solidarity with our ex-offenders that they are not alone.
I invite you to support me by donating to this cause: [insert your campaign link here]

Some might ask, what is Everesting?
Everesting is a sporting challenge where individuals, typically cyclists (or runners) repeatedly ascend and descend a chosen hill to accumulate the total elevation gain of Mount Everest (8,848 meters).
Essentially, the challenge is to "climb" Mount Everest by repeated ascents and descents of a shorter hill. So if we are Everesting at Mount Faber, that would require 112 loops of repeated ascents and descents!
But why Everesting? This relentless climb to conquer Mount Everest mirrors the difficult path of ex-offenders striving to rebuild their lives.
Their reintegration is not just about overcoming personal obstacles, but also about gaining acceptance and support from the society. With the support from families, friends, and our community like yourself, they would be able to overcome their challenges and reach greater heights.
Through Everesting for Second Chances, I hope to challenge my physical limitations and becoming a symbol of strength and hope for those who are embarking on their integration journey.
I'll be grateful if you could donate to this meaningful cause to show that they are not alone on their journey to the summit: [insert your campaign link here]
